MPs voted against an amendment to the Immigration Bill, which the House of Lords had added to enshrine child refugee legislation for reunification rules into UK law. Under current rules, unaccompanied child refugees may be reunited with their family members in the UK, but these are to be discontinued when the new immigration system comes into effect in January 2021.

EU Students Face Visa Fees

Updated Immigration Health Surcharge Fees Published
The list of fees for UK immigration applications was updated on 1st December 2020 to reflect the new visa routes that have been introduced. The amounts are unchanged: application fees have been frozen for the last two years. One thing – the Immigration Health Surcharge – has increased though.
