First, you need a Case Identification Number or ‘CaseID’ which should be included on every letter you receive from the Home Office. It is an 8 digit number.

After submitting payment for your application, you should get a payment reference number which you can use to track the status of your visa application.

A Unique Application Number is a 16-digit number that is on all letters and emails you receive from the Home Office.

If you paid the NHS immigration health surcharge when you made your application, you will get a number after payment.

Any of these numbers can be used to track your UK visa status.

Can I speed up my UK Visa Application?

If you have used one of the following forms, you could be able to get a decision within five working days:

  • SET (AF)
  • SET (F)
  • SET (LR)
  • SET (M)

You ill need to download and fill in these forms from the Home Office. Only the first five requests received each day are accepted. The cost is £490 per person on top of the main application fee.
