Over three million applications have now been made under the EU Settlement Scheme, according to the latest government figures. Although 15 months remain before the deadline of 30th June 2021, during this challenging time processing time may take longer than usual.
Settlement Resolution Centre (SRC)
The SRC is currently not able to answer telephone calls. It is still available to be contacted by email and a call back function is available if required. Emails originating from support organisations are prioritised.
ID Document Scanner Locations
All ID document scanner locations have been closed to protect their staff, following Public Health England advice.
Postal Route for Submitting Identity Evidence
The postal route for submitting your identity evidence has also been suspended. All of the documents that have already been sent to the Home Office are going to be returned as soon as possible.
EU Exit ID Document Check App
The EU Exit document check app is still available, and it can be used to make your application online any time before the deadline of 30th June 2021.
Funded Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations
Some voluntary and community sector services have been suspended, but many organisations are still able to provide support, for example, online or over the phone. Further details are available on each individual organisationās website.
