The new application process for EU Citizens to attain Settled Status is straightforward. The preferred method is not a paper application form but a smartphone app, which is now being trialled. It will be possible to apply with the online app by 30th March 2019. Alternatively, people can apply online through the Gov.uk web site if they have not got an Android device. For those who are not as confident using the online systems, we are being asked if there is a settled status application form. Paper applications will be permitted in some circumstances, but the details have not been finalised.
