Started to live in the UK before 31st December 2020 (12th April 2019 if the UK leaves the EU with no deal)
Lived in the UK for at least 6 months in any 12-month period for five years
What Does EU Settlement Scheme Pre-Settled Status Mean?

The rights and status of EU, EEA and Swiss citizens that currently live in the UK will remain the same until 30th June 2021, if the UK leaves the EU with an agreed deal. If there is no deal, then the situation will change. Successful applicants under the EU Settlement Scheme will be able to continue living and working in the UK after 2021, and they will be given either “Settled Status” or “Pre-Settled Status”.
