What Does EU Settlement Scheme Settled Status Mean?

With settled status, you can stay in the UK as long as you like. You will be able to apply for British citizenship if you are eligible.

Close members of your family can join you in the United Kingdom but must apply to the EU Settlement Scheme after arriving. If the UK leaves the EU with no deal, close family members can join you in the UK after 31 December 2020 only if your relationship with them started before 31st December 2020 and you are still in that relationship when they apply. If the UK leaves the EU with no deal, then the deadline for them to apply to join you is 29th March 2022.
